The hare and the snowman

Description

When I painted this scene I felt like it came alive. I could almost see the fog rising from the hare’s breathe as he sniffed at the air while the snowman watched from a distance. I chose to set this scene in the early morning just before sunrise with a clear sky. The icy frost all around and a traditional carrot for the snowman’s nose.

Made from four 4 layers of wood these layered decorations look amazing in a tree as they are hung with twine or ribbon. If you want to add some colour they take stain and paint really well or if you are feeling brave let the kids go to town on them.

You can glue glitter to the edges or all over to create something really unique.

Made from 4 separate layers each can be painted before glueing. In the examples shown I used acrylic model paint but they will take most paint or stain that is suitable for wood.

You will receive unpainted blanks that will need to be painted and glued to finish the product.
